On Sunday we celebrated a very special grand re-opening. For decades, the St. Clement's kitchen has been a small but mighty part of our church. The modest space was central to the celebration of countless parish dinners, funeral receptions, coffee hours, youth group pizza nights, pancake breakfasts and untold other celebrations over the years - but it was time for an upgrade.

Now, thanks to the legacy gift from Mt. Olivet Lutheran, the talent of architects Kerry Magnus and Ian Abercrombie, and the dedication of our building committee and other volunteers, we have proudly unveiled a newly remodelled kitchen that will allow us to expand our hospitality to parishioners and community members alike. While the square footage of the kitchen itself is the same, the food prep and serving areas have been expanded into the hall by means of a new sink, countertops and storage.

An overall "declutter" and paint job in the parish hall, alongside our bright, brand-new kitchen, have made the whole space feel larger, lighter and more welcoming. We are grateful to everyone who played a role in making this dream come true, and we ask a blessing on all who will offer hospitality within these walls in the years to come.
