The service begins at 10 am. Childcare is provided during Sunday School and ample parking is available.
On Remembrance Sunday, we include prayers for all who are serving or living in places of war and conflict. At the end of the service, we sing O, Canada to remember those to whom our memorial chapel is dedicated and all in the neighbourhood and wider community who served in the First and Second World Wars.
Indigenous Veterans Day in Canada is November 8th, and we hope that you will take a moment to learn about the men and women who, even though they were not considered Canadians, went to war three times for Canada. Jenn writes, “I hope you will join us at church on November 8th (in person or online) as we remember Indigenous Vets and their service, and all Veterans, as we approach November 11th. I’ll be preaching that day, and I hope you can come and listen and remember with us.
