Kingsley (they/them) is a third-year Master of Divinity student at the Vancouver School of Theology and a postulant for ordination to the priesthood in the Diocese of New Westminster. A lifelong Anglican, Kingsley has spent over a decade in parish ministry, particularly with children, youth, and families. They previously served at St. Mary’s Kerrisdale for nine years and currently work part-time in communications at St. Catherine’s Anglican Church in North Vancouver.
Kingsley is passionate about helping people of all ages discover meaningful connections with God, one another, and their communities. They are particularly interested in intergenerational worship, storytelling, and the Church’s ongoing work of truth and reconciliation. Alongside their spouse, Skylar, who is Red River Métis, Kingsley values opportunities to learn, celebrate Indigenous cultures, and advocate for justice and right relationships.
Born and raised on Vancouver Island, Kingsley identifies as trans/non-binary and now lives in Marpole with Skylar and their dog, Winnie. Outside of church and school, they enjoy building lego, watching movies, and exploring creative pursuits together.
Kingsley is delighted to be joining St. Clement’s for their theological field education placement and looks forward to learning, worshipping, and growing together with the community.
