How do we celebrate Pentecost - the birthday of the Christian Church - when we can't gather as a community? Let's find out!

We will be putting together a video montage showing the Holy Spirit at work in the lives and faces of our St. Clement's family. We invite you to send in a photo of yourself reflecting the spirit of Pentecost - you could wear yellow, orange or red; you might be engaged in a spirit-filled activity; you might be holding a candle representing the tongues of fire - use your imagination! If nothing else, just send us a photo of you with a big smile - because that's the Spirit at work right there! Whether you are an old-timer or brand new to St. Clement's, your participation would be much valued.

We also invite you to include a one-word sign that represents an aspect of life lived in the Spirit. See above for Peggy's example... but there are all sorts of words you might pick! The template for the sign is attached for printing below - but feel free to make your own from scratch. We would love to see some signs in different languages, too!

If you have no means by which to take a new photo, please send us one you've already got that you think might suit the bill. Or talk to Peggy and she can arrange to take one of you from a safe distance.

* Please take the photograph horizontally (landscape mode) and please use a dark marker if you make a sign.*

Please send your photos to peggy@stclementschurch.ca as soon as possible and May 17 at the latest. Our resident film maker Randall will get to work with them (thanks, Randall!), and in the meantime Lynley is working on a wonderful soundtrack!
