Many of us are fortunate to have fond memories of summer camps - or we are still going to camp to worship, wonder and play under the stars. In this diocese, we have been blessed to have walked in partnership for nearly 100 years with Camp Artaban on Gambier Island.
This Sunday, we will be bringing a taste of camp to St. Clement's. Come and sit by the campfire to hear the story of Artaban, the fourth wiseman, sing some lively worship songs, and break bread with your fellow "campers." Feel free to bust out your board (or Bermuda) shorts and wear your favourite "summer's here" t-shirt. You'll walk away whistling and ready for a spirit-filled summer!
Once you've heard the story of the fourth magi and had a taste of camp life, we encourage you to go experience the real thing. Artaban has camps for kids and for families this summer (click here), and St. Clement's is teaming up with the Diocesan Youth Movement to plan a special weekend for youth and youth adults.
