Join us for a discussion, study and workshop on angels, those mysterious messengers that are woven into the narratives of many different faith traditions. What do the scriptures say about angels? What role might they play in our lives today? What stories might we have to share, or questions to offer?

CBC Radio's Tapestry show recently featured an interview with a Canadian psychiatrist who has just released a book in which he assures people that paranormal experiences - including seeing visions of angels - are not uncommon. In the lead up to this workshop and the Feast of St. Michael's and All Angels, you might be interested to read or listen to the interview!

The Saturday workshop will begin with a morning Eucharist at 9:30 a.m.; we will then open up the gathering to Zoom participants for Andre's introduction to the topic, some small group discussion and a talk from André about angels in scripture.

After a BYOLunch break, those present at the workshop will break out into different groups to create some prayers, a sermon, and some art for the following morning, the Sunday on which we will observe the Feast of St. Michael and All Angels.

Preregistration via our "Save a Seat" link is required; please sign up asap for either the in-person or the Zoom session.
