We were pleased to welcome Ollie, Maisie, Lucy, Theo, Toffee, Caz, Norman and Pearl to the annual Blessing of the Animals on Sunday morning (as well as all our human guests and newcomers, with or without animal accompaniment)!

We are not unaccustomed to animal companions being present in church, but the friendly addition of some new furry faces caused a definite stir of interest amongst the old-timer St. Clement's canines. Pirate's tail thumps were audible punctuation to many of the prayers, and Philippa's sermon was met with more noise from the pews than usual. All in all, it was a happy way to celebrate the Feast of St. Michael and All Angels, St. Francis, and the wonder of God's creation - and on a lovely sunny morning to boot!
