Can you help keep people warm and dry this winter? We will be collecting cold-weather clothing and other items that will be distributed on December 12 at the "Free Store" organized annually in the Downtown Eastside by the Employ to Empower charity.

Since we are not allowed out visiting in the week or two ahead, this might be a very good time to go through your closets! Please consider donating any of the following (and please note that summer clothes or children's clothes are not needed at this time.)

Winter Outerwear
Winter Accessories (eg: hats, scarves, gloves, etc.)
Winter Clothing (eg: sweaters, pants, etc.)
Blankets, sleeping bags, etc.
Bags (eg: backpacks, purses, duffel bags, etc.)
Socks
Shoes for men and women
Toiletries

We understand men's pants are especially welcome. You can see a video of the Free Store below, and hear from some of the people it serves.

Please bring your donations to church on Sunday morning either November 15 or 22; they can be left undercover by the office door or transferred to Peggy's car after the service. Throughout the week, they can be taken to the church during office hours or dropped at Peggy's home.

Thank you!
