There's a fire in my bucket!

Elizabeth, Jeanette, and Helen teamed up with North Lonsdale United Church minister, Jaylynn Byassee, to prepare the ashes for Ash Wednesday. The receptacle, affectionately referred to as "The Holy Bucket", holds last year's palm crosses with a bit of oil blessed during the Chrism mass in Holy Week as fire starter. 

This year St Clement's was happy to share ashes with two neighbouring congregations: North Lonsdale United and Lynn Valley United Church.
