Well, the knot is tied and what a beautiful wedding it was! The Cathedral pulled out all the stops (literally) for the happy couple, with a full Eucharist, masterful organ playing, the Cathedral's wonderful choir directed by Rupert Lang, and even a string quartet.

The wedding officiant, the Rev. Stuart Mennigke (pictured above) struck just the right tone throughout. Stuart will be presiding at St. Clement's on September 11 and October 9, and we will all enjoy meeting him then. Many of us will already have met his wife, Jane, who has been worshipping with us at St. Clement's on occasion.

But back to the wedding! Helen and Andi looked radiant, but don't take our word for it - if you weren't there yourself, you can watch the service recording by clicking here.

On Monday, Helen again offered her thanks for St. Clement's kind support and the refreshments we provided after the wedding while guests mingled on the plaza outside the Cathedral. Says Helen, "Your hospitality and kindness for everyone on Saturday was felt deeply by mine and Andi's family. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts."

Helen will be at Camp Artaban leading the youth gathering this weekend, but she will be presiding at the Sunday service on September 4.
