A divine daytrip

A bishop, a priest and a deacon got into a car ... nope, it wasn't the start of a joke, but of a fast and fabulous trip to Jenn's home in Roberts Creek on Monday.

The fine weather more than made up for the need to be at the Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal by 7am. We followed the sun to the Sunshine Coast and were welcomed by Jenn, her husband, Chris, and their new rescue dog, Moses. (Moses was particularly emphastic in his prolonged greeting, not being used to having interlopers in his home!)

A service of Confirmation and the Eucharist followed; Jenn was grateful for everyone's prayers and the blessing from Sunday's service the day before. 

As for the bishop, the priest and the deacon, we were all honoured to be part of this special occasion, and for the excuse of a fine day out!
