St. Clement's is a member of North Vancouver REST (Regional Ecumenical Support Team). REST is a partnership of 10 churches that work in close partnership with the Diocese of New Westminster to sponsor and support refugees fleeing unsafe conditions in their home country. Our most recent arrivals were a Syrian family, who are now accomplishing a great deal in their work and school life, and a young Somalian man who is living semi-independently and going to Vancouver Community College despite the blindness that he first started to experience in his adolesence.
