 uver\, BC\, V7J 3V6.\n\nEleanor Isabell Parmelee (née Crossley) of North 
 Vancouver passed away peacefully on April 15 at the age of 93. Born Octobe
 r 19\, 1932\, in Ottawa\, Eleanor lived a dynamic life defined by strength
 \, beauty\, and deep devotion to her family. Her careers included sales\, 
 modeling\, and business administration. She was also the founder of the Ot
 tawa Gymnastics Club\, Vice President of the Ontario Gymnastics Federation
 \, and worked with Sport Canada before embracing her most cherished role a
 s a mother. In later years\, she devotedly cared for her mother\, Mary (Mo
 llie) Crossley\, until her passing at age 98.\n\nShe welcomed internationa
 l students into her home\, had a beautiful singing voice\, and was known f
 or hosting unforgettable parties. Her love of travel took her all over the
  world\, and at the age of 92\, she began acting in television commercials
 . Eleanor was predeceased by her father\, Kenneth\; her mother\, Mary\; an
 d her brother\, Ronald. She will be lovingly remembered by her children\, 
 Geoffrey (Carol)\, Margot (Glenn)\, Gail (Sam)\, Sandi\, Nancy\, and Lynda
  (Robert)\; her brother\, Bill Crossley\; and her grandchildren\, Maya\, R
 yan\, Lanaya\, and Owen.
