 ith the Imposition of Ashes.\nWhat is Ash Wednesday?\nIn the Christian fai
 th\, we begin our journey to Easter Day on Ash Wednesday with the sign of 
 ashes (prepared by burning the palm crosses from the previous year). These
  ashes are marked on our foreheads in the shape of a cross. We call this a
 ct "the imposition of ashes"\, an ancient sign\, speaking of the frailty a
 nd uncertainty of human life. This act also marks the desire of the commun
 ity as a whole to commit ourselves to confession\, forgiveness\, and recon
 ciliation in our lives and in the world.\n\nParking is available in the lo
 t next to the church. This service will be live streamed. \n
