The Reverend Dr. Lynne McNaughton BA, M.Div, D.Min , Priest - Sep. 1, 2008
Lynne has been priest at St. Clement's since 2008. Lynne McNaughton holds an honours Bachelor of Arts, with Distinction, in Sociology and English from the University of Alberta, a Master of Divinity degree from Van. School of Theology, and a Doctor of Ministry in Spiritual Leadership from Columbia Theological School. Ordained an Anglican priest in 1987, she served in two parishes in the Diocese of New Westminster Christ Church Cathedral and St. Mary's Kerrisdale, before joining the faculty of the Van. School of Theology in 1995, teaching Anglican Formation for ordination, and Christian Spirituality. Since 1997, she has lead pilgrimages to Ireland, Great Britain and Europe. She frequently leads retreats and workshops on Psalms, Celtic Spirituality, and Pilgrimage as spiritual practice. Lynne has two adult daughters in university. She has two cats and loves gardening and cycling.

Reverend Elizabeth Mathers, Deacon - 2007 to Present Elizabeth, a long-term member of St. Clement's, was ordained as a Deacon in June 2007. She has an MCS (Master of Christian Studies) from Regent College. Her primary involvement in ministry is in pastoral care. She also assists with the liturgy and preaches. Elizabeth and her husband, David, have lived in North Vancouver since 1982, and have two adult children. Elizabeth earns her living as a gardener, looking after a small number of private gardens. |
