September 2009 "LIFE IN THE EUCHARIST" Children's workshop on the Eucharist. This is the Time Machine. In the Eucharist, in the Eternal Now, we travel back through all God has done in the past, we are with Jesus and the disciples at the last supper, and we also get a glimpse of God's future when all creation will be made whole.
The children of St. Clement's enjoyed traveling back to their favourite bible story. |

The 2 families are from right to left: Lu Wah (black t-shirt), Kler Paw (white shirt), Pak Gay with baby Laura in her arms (wife of Lu Wah with green t-shirt) and Eh Moo Si in the back with baby Eh Tha Nay. These people are completely exhausted after travelling 30 hours from the Refugee Camp to Bangkok, then to Tokyo and then to Vancouver.
On the left with the brown shirt is Delia, sister of Eh Moo Si and already in Canada for a year or so and her 2 daughters. |

| | St. Clement's as its seen from across the street. The part of the building on the left is the entrance to the main sanctuary. At the right side of the building is the chapel. The two parts of the structure are connected by a meeting room.
The Parish Administrator's office is located at the far right (South) side of the building where the covered stairs lead to the office door.
The Rector's Study and Chapel entrance are found at the back of the building on the South Side.
There is a large parking lot to the south of the building as well as ample parking on the street. |

The Chapel at St. Clement's provides an intimate worship space for private prayer and for early morning and weekday services.
It is part of the very old part of the church that has been maintained for current use. This part of the structure dates to about 1917.
The entrance to the chapel for the early morning Sunday service (8:00 a.m.) is at the rear part of the building. This is also the entrance to the Rector's Study. |
|
| | The inside of the main sanctuary at St. Clement's is warm and welcoming with its west coast cedar log construction.
The sanctuary seats about 130 quite comfortably.
The reredos is carved oak and is original to this part of the building. The candles and brass budded cross stands on a uniquely designed oak credence table crafted by Sean Luttmer of Galiano Island. |
